animated gifs

I receive my e-mails showing both photos and MPEG movies,
but the animated gifs are still. Is this something I can
address in the preferences. There is one exception to
this,and that is an e-mail from 123greetings.com, where
the animations work fine. ????????

Animated GIFs do not animate in-line in Entourage. You will have to open the
file in a separate application like Graphics Converter to see the animation.
However, animation is supported in complex HTML.
