Animated signature roll out

The company I work for has asked if we can use animated
signatures throughout the company.
The signature's to include the user's name and job roll.
Rather than create an indivual locally stored HTML file
for each user, can I create a central location using XML
lookups. I.e. the users NT authentication info is held
in one lookup file and the info relating to them is
inserted into the signature?

Outlook's signature mechanism uses only locally stored .htm (and .txt and
..rtf) files.
