Animated Signature

What do i have to do to animate my email signatures? I have gone into
advanced edit (under signature edit) and then under 'format-font-text
effects' but everything is greyed out and it wont let me use the animation.
Has anyone any ideas?
I want to get my name to appear from the right and sweep across the screen
when the email is opened.

Hi Carl

You need to use HTML as your message format, then use HTML coding instead of
the actual signature.
