A serious problem with PC version of Ppt2007 is the degradation in graphics
upon animation. In Ppt2003, I could "Ungroup" graphics and they would not
show aliasing. That is not possible in Ppt2007. As an organic chemistry
professor, I often have 10 steps of animation using chemistry formulas. These
need to be perfect.
I have tried many machines, graphics setups, graphics drivers, etc etc. It
is a problem with Powerpoint, and not my hardware, drivers, or OS settings.
Note that animation graphics on the Mac version of Ppt2008 are not affected
this way: they look perfect after animation.
