Animation with Imgaes on multiple slides

I am creating a Presentation for a Beauty Pageant that I am in charge of and
need a little assistance setting up the slides.

There are 58 contestants that I need to add to the slide show. I would like
to make a template that I can use with a picture in the middle, and text
above and below the pictures. I would then like to be able to add animation
so that the items appear at different times, and I can handle that. Is there
an easy way to do that though?

The major question though is once I have this setup, and want to change the
animation on them all, is there a way that I can change it once, and have
that change applied to all slides? One of the presentations will have the
following items appear in this order:
in - Contestant Name
in - Photo
in - Location
out - location and photo
in - Moto of her reign
out - all

But I would like to be able to change the timeing and order in case there
are problems with this setup and not have to do it 60 times.

Well any ideas would be Greatly appreciated!

Put your animation on the placeholders in the slide master.

Use the title placeholder for the contestant name, and use the regular text
placeholder for the location.

Use the 2-column bulleted slide layout so that you have two regular text
placeholders on your slide. Put the motto in the 2nd one. You'll probably
have to move it on each slide, though, as there's no way to specify
positioning of that second placeholder on the master slide.

Ok, that makes sense. While making the Master though how can I insert a
place holder for an image? I can see what you are talking about with the
title and the regular text placeholders, but I can't seem to figure out
getting an image in there...

Ah, crud. You know what? You'll have to use a content layout for the slide
layout in order to get the animation to "take" on the images. And I don't
think there's a slide layout with two text placeholders and a "conten"
placeholder.

I think if I had to do this, I'd put the animations on the master as
described for the text and use the double-bulleted slide layout. (Position
your placeholders on the master slide so that you don't have to arrange both
text placeholders each time you create a new slide.

Then I'd steal a trick from Glen Millar. Create an autoshape and use Fill
(paint bucket icon) /Fill Effects/Picture to place your photo on the slide.
Animate that autoshape. Now copy it to the next slide and change the fill
picture. The animation will remain.

If you use this method, you won't be able to edit the photos once they're in
PPT, so make sure you've done your image editing in an image editor before
inserting them.
