[ANN] How to get a good answer to your questions

PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.
It's often impossible to answer your questions otherwise.

If you don't know, check the Version page for how to get this info:

<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/version.html>

Use a subject that describes your problem. Using "help me", "I'm in trouble"
etc. might not the attention of someone that could help. It also does not
help someone searching the archives for help with the same problem.

If you are in a hurry for answers, always check under Help in the menu bar.
You would be surprised at how many answers are there. :)

Also check the Entourage Help Page.

Search the Entourage FAQ Site <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/search.html>

Happy Holidays!!!

I might add:
Things do do before you post:
- Go to MacTopia and make sure Office is up to date
- make sure the system itself is up to date
- check the hard drive for corruption with a disk utility

and for MacOS X:
- repair the Permissions (through DiskUtility in MacOS >10.2)
- repair the Keychain (Apple app before 10.3 and through the Keychain
app itself in 10.3)

Useful links:
MacTopia Download section:

Apple Repair Privileges utility:

Keychain first aid (MacOS before 10.3):

You wouldn't believe the number of issues that can be fixes through
these simple maintenance operations :)))
