Annoyance - Folder windows open at bottom

D

David Sachs

If the sorting options for a view include sorting by time in ascending
order, Outook 2003 (as well as older versions of Outlook) always starts
displaying any folder using such a view at the bottom of the list. My
preferred sorting order for many folders is subject followed by received,
both in ascending order.

Is there any wau to bypass this annoyance?

On Outlook 2000, I created a new view exactly how you described it. No
by clicking on the title, but creating the view:
View, Current view, Define Views

Either modify current or copy or create new, your choice. Click sor
and choose your preferences.

BTW: I like to include To and Size in my columns as I have a quota a
well as I'd like to know personally addressed emails versu
distribution lists
