Another Publisher printing problem...

I'm not new to Pubisher...it's an old friend....at least it was until I got
2007. For instance, right now I am trying to print a greeting card, which I
have done thousands of times over the years. But now when I go into Print
command, the Print Preview is perfect, it is perfect on the page itself. But
it prints larger than it should, running the words of the interior of the
card off the page at outside right margin and bottom. I am using "print to
border" capability, but I have used that on most of my cards over the years.
I'm confused!

Ok, I figured it out myself, so I'll tell you how I resolved it in case
anyone else has the problem. With Publisher 2007 and a new HP Photosmart
C5180, you can't print the words and the picture together, because the
printer stretches the words to try and make them borderless also. This
didn't happen with the old Photosmart printer (HP 7760). Anyway, I printed
the words normally then reinserted the paper correctly and let it print the
picture borderless. It printed perfectly, at least for this time! Hope it
helps someone.

Are you using a custom size?

The print setup in Publisher 2007 is not friendly in my opinion.

Is there a blank template from one of the companies that is the same size as
your cards? I have discovered the blank templates from the paper companies
behave better than Publisher's blank page templates.

If you setup your publication to print borderless to begin with you shouldn't
have to print your publication twice. Your page setup should be arranged with no
borders.

I have a borderless printer and if I select photo paper rather than letter stock
I have no problem. I don't actually have to have photo paper in the printer.

Mine is an older printer than yours and it works well.
