ANOYING HELPERS

Hi All:

I'm getting little green markers on the upper left corner of cells
with formulas. Along with these, I get an exclaimation with a drop
down box (which is always where I don't want it) that gives me a list
as follows:

Unprotected Formula
Lock Cell
Help on this error
Ignor Error
Edit in formula Bar
Error checking options
Show Formula Auditing Toolbar


How can I get rid of this anoying little helper?

These "Helpers" let you know about possible errors that might occur in
formula's you created.
Turn them of by :

Tools | Options

Click the Error checking tab and deselect the background error checking
checkbox.

open the context menu 'Error checking options' and disable the error
checking
