Any way to change width of email messages?

Does anybody know a way to send plain text email using Entourage that
don't get wrapped at 76 characters?

I need to send data to an automated system that expect plain text
emails, 1 record per line. Unfortunately, the records run between 80
and 90 characters. Entourage insists on entering hard line breaks
after 76 characters, which obviously breaks the parsing program on the
other end.

Any thoughts or ideas? (HTML message and attachments are no goes. The
processor doesn't know how to deal with them)

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew!

The limit is by design and can not be extended. Microsoft is actually
following an email standard. For more information have a look at this
page <http://mailformat.dan.info/body/linelength.html>.

Other folks here are more knowledgeable than I am but what I believe
you're interested in having, which Entourage doesn't support, is
format=flowed. This content-type would allow you to send messages in a
format that would allow for rewrapping.

Let Microsoft know you want this feature by using the Help --> Send
Feedback command in Entourage.

Hope this helps! bill
