aol causing outlook problems

I have just installed AOL 8. Outlook express has 6 email
accounts in it. Tiscali, freeserve and lycos accounts are
no longer downloading/uploading email. The others are
fine. Any suggestions? ALSO I want to permanently stop
spam from outlook. unsubscribing doesnt work. Any
suggestions. Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
