AOL email JPG error

When send a jpg picture to someone with an email account they a get a
file with a .mim extention. What's causing this and how can I
corrrect it?

It wouldn't surprise me at all if AOL is causing it. I know of no
correction for it.

You know, AOL is about the worst ISP you can find, and it's amazing to
me they are still in business. How many times have they filed for
bankruptcy now?? Anyway, you'd do yourself a huge favor to switch to a
better ISP. I've used Earthlink for years, smaller local ISPs before
that. Surely you can find a better ISP in your area, no?

It came up for me.

The short answer is: never send more than one attachment per email in or out
of email. If you need to send multiple files, compress them together.

Strange - I just tried again and it came up here as well.

Anyhow, I have to say, that's pretty lame. Any other ISP handles
multiple attachments just fine. Yet another reason people should avoid
AOL at all costs as an ISP...
