Apple News Server in Entourage?

Hi!

Why can't I connetct to Apple News Server (nntp.apple.com) in Entourage
2004?
Entourage says the server can't be found.
Is that because I've entered the wrong address, or doesn't Apple provide a
News Server anymore?

To my knowledge Apple has never offered a public news server, not counting
the one for CyberDog.
