Apple Security Update & Entourage

After having installed Apple's latest security update (2004-09-16),
Entourage (v10.1.5) crashes when attempting to receive mail.

Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions? Suggestions?

Yes, I have exactly the same problem and no solution. I've tried rebuilding
the Entourage database (including the complete rebuild), Disk Utilities, Disk
Warrior, and even calling Apple Care, but they won't help with a Microsoft
product.

I'm very frustrated at this point, because I really need my Entourage. I hope
someone finds a fix that works and post it here.

I have exactly the same problem, but didn't associate it with having installed
Apple's latest security update. Now I realize that's when the problem
started. I don't have an answer. I wonder if there is a way to "de-install" the
last security update.

I fixed the problem. One of my four POP accounts was the culprit. I
discovered it by checking the mail from each POP account separately. Three
worked without a problem -- the fourth POP account crashed the program.
