Sorry, rules aren't scriptable. I'm not sure exactly what "automatically"
would mean : you'd still have to click something. Why not just leave your
Rules window open and click the checkboxes in that? You don't have to open
the rules for editing, just click the box in the list.

If there was a was to script them (or something similar), I could have
Quickeys turn on certain ones at certain times. For example, I have a rule
that forwards incoming messages to my cell phone, but I want it to do so
only at specific times (such as between six and midnight, regardless of
whether I¹m at the computer). I was able to build a macro in Quickeys to do
this in OS 9, but not OS X. Keeping the rules window open takes up too much
screen space for the few times I need to toggles a few rules. Thanks for the
suggestion, though. - Bob

You can enable/disable Schedules via a script. Could you set a schedule that
runs, say, once a minute (or right after your send/receive all schedule)
that runs a script which does the forwarding? Then, you could use your
Quickey to turn the schedule on or off. Or you could simply set the schedule
to run only during the desired times.
