I have a user who when using MS Outlook while connected to
our VPN, receives the following error:
"Application Error: Outlook: The instruction at 0x3a60ad0b
referenced memory at 0x01c5lfb0. The memory could not be
written". Outlook then closes.
Occasionally, the entire computer will shutdown on its own
after the error.
The only thing non-standard that I can see on the Outlook
config is he is using the Net Folders add-in. I'm not
familiar with Net Folders - can it cause errors such as
this? He is using Outlook 2000, Win2K O/S, IPSEC based VPN
client software. Any ideas out there? It's getting worse -
now he can't add attachments to email messages - the whole
system freezes. Thanks.
