Are Multiple Analysis Services Repositories Possible?

We have six instances of Project Server 2007 within our organization.
Each group wants their OLAP cube built hourly. However, when two OLAP
cube builds are sent to the Analysis Services Repository (ASR) at the
same time, it will occasionally malfunction and need to be reset (this
is noted in Brian Smith's blog). Therefore, I was thinking multiple
ASRs would be the solution, but I am not sure if this is possible.
Has anyone attempted this with success?

Never tried this before, but I think you should install analysis services six
times in different instances to have this working. This would make it
necessary to have more repository databases.
Six instances on 1 machine would probably use a lot more resources (memory
and cpu) than having only 1 instance and thus a possible risc in degradation
of performance (every hour).
