Running 2004, I've set up about 36 Mail (POP) rules for categorizing and
moving mail to folders. Problem is, they don't all seem to work, despite
following all the tips I could find on the Web and on Microsoft's site.
So, I tried re-ordering them. The first couple work, but nothing else does
anything.
So, I tried selecting all the messages in my Inbox, right-clicking, and
choosing Apply Rule / All Rules. Nothing happens. And the same goes when I
select only one message for which I know I have a valid rule.
But, if I select individual messages and apply the related rule, the rule
executes as expected.
Anyone have a thought on what else I could try? And, what is the difference
between From Is versus From Contains?
BTW, I've repaired the database and permissions several times, but it makes
no difference.
