Are the MS proofing tools 2003 compatible with office 2000

I need to get the proofing tools for Microsoft Office, but only can get the
version 2003. The office version I'm using is Office 2000.
Do the MS Office proofing tools 2003 work with MS Office 2000?

It doesn't answer my question.
This is the answer to the opposite, if you have a newer version of office
and and older version of the proofing tools.

Hi Tonic,

The Office 2003 Proofing Tools kit will be looking for a 2003 Office product when they're being installed so you may not get past
the install check. If you have both 2000 and 2003 products on the PC the language tools may work with both but it's not a fully
tested or supported configuration.
