Arranged by Sent, why are dates scrambled?

I have a folder that is agrranged by SENT. At beginning I do see lot of January dates on right, but below that it jumbles like crazy. June dates mixed with December, mixed with April. No consistency. I would like to see the months strictly together. any ideas? thanks.

Are you sure it's actually sorted by the Sent column? Perhaps click on
another column, then re-click Sent to force a re-sort.
