ascending combo box columns

i have combobox based on table 1 and contain
field1,filed2,field3
how could i chenged accending method of those fields by
clicking its head clolumns ?
for example : when i brow the combobox , 3 columns will be
brows ascending to field1
i want to press head_clolumn of field2 , to ascend the
query according to it

I do not believe it can be done in Access. It can be done using some combo
controls available for VB. Unfortunately I believe there are no events or
event parameters which return where the mouse was clicked in a combo. Having
said this some people produce great workarounds Have a look at the MVP web
sites where there are solutions to many things which 'cannot be done'
For the occasions where I want the user to be able to do this I include an
options frame, usually in the form header.
I, too, would be interested if anybody comes up with a solution to this.
