ASP. How easy???

After getting fed up with JavaScript, going round in circles with Perl, I
have decided that I need to learn a proper scripting language.

At the moment I'm torn between PHP, ASP and JSP. I don't want to go to Java
as that would be too much for me to learn at this stage.

I've noticed quite a few 'proper' sites using ASP, whereas PHP is growing in
popularity. So, in your opinion, which is the best to learn?

Any advice would be appreciated.(I use FP2002 by the way)

The Next Big Thing© is ASP.NET. ISTM that it's
gaining in popularity, so I would recommend it
rather than ASP, which is at this point, retrograde.

Hi Carl,

JavaScript is suited to automating things on the web page on the client
side. ASP ASPX CGI PERL, Etc are all server based.

ASPX is the current environment and it should be learned.
