ASP.NET (Framework/v1.1.4322) loaded itself onto computer, can del

ASP.NET (Microsoft.NETFramework/v1.1.4322) loaded itself onto computer, can I
get rid of it? Do I need ASP.NET? I am not a developer and use basic stuff,
like Frontpage 2003. How do I remove it without messing up the rest of the
Office/Frontpage programs? Thanks for your help.

The Framework doesn't install itself. Likely you installed some program
that needs it.
It has nothing to do with Office including Frontpage as it doesn't need
the framework.
