Assigning non listed command for customize keyboard

I want to assign a workperfect tool which I miss. I want control+shift+Q to
book mark a position in a document, so that when I later on type control+Q it
will go directly to that position.

In addition, I want another wordperfect feature, which I have not been able
to reproduce in Word, at all, but from what I have learned is a lot of work.
In wordperfect you type text left justified, then tab over to some position,
whose position will vary with the text, the type a text, then Alt+f7, which
light justifies without changing the position of any of the typed text, and
then hit Alt+f7 again, which inserts period leader, and then type a number
right justified.

It looks like this:

Text Text . . . . . .
. . . . . . $000.00

When you time at the right margin, what is typed moves left, while the text
stays still.

thanks..I've given up on this one

- Turn on the macro recorder
- Assign the macro you are about to record to Ctrl-Shift-Q
- Go to Insert, Bookmark.
- Type in the name of the bookmark you want to use. It must start with a
letter and contain only letters and numbers and the underscore character. No
spaces
- Click the Add button
- stop the macro recorder.

That sorts out your Ctrl-Shift-Q macro. Now for Ctrl-Q

- Turn on the macro recorder
- Assign the macro you are about to record to Ctrl-Q
- Go to Edit, Goto.
- On the dialog that appears, select "bookmark" from the list on the left
and select the name of the bookmark you created from the list on the right
- Click the Goto button, then the Close button
- stop the macro recorder.

Without the leader this is very simple. Adding in the leader is a couple of
extra steps.

- With the ruler visible at the top of the screen, click the tiny box on the
top left repeatedly until the right tab symbol (a backwards L) appears
- Click on the ruler near to the right margin to insert the tab stop. Drag
it to the right margin for accurate positioning

Now, if you type some text, press the tab key, and then type some more, the
second lot of text will be right justified. To get the leader in, proceed as
follows

- Go to format, Tabs
- On the dialog that appears, select the tab stop that you have inserted
- Select the kind of leader you want.
- Click Set, then Close.

Ok, I open the developer tab and got the first macro I think done.

On the second, I don't see a "go to edit" botton, to what are you referring
to:

Go to Edit, Goto.<<<<<---------
- On the dialog that appears, select "bookmark" from the list on the left
and select the name of the bookmark you created from the list on the right
- Click the Goto button, then the Close button
- stop the macro recorder.

On the Edit menu, there is an item "Go To" near the bottom. If you can't
find it, press F5 instead which brings up the same dialog.

Very clear....

If you can keep your head while others are loosing theirs, it means you

So I think I got my head back for a while....as a tax lawyer I'm used to
reading the Code...I appreciate your clarity.
