Assigning permissions after Security Wizard

Guest

I followed the directions in the security FAQ ending in running the Security
Wizard. Then I went to assign permissions to the various groups for the
various objects. Access won't let me do this.

I'm logged in as "administrator", the username I chose to be in the Admins
group, but all the objects are still owned by Admin which is now a member of
only the Users group.

Did I miss a step somewhere in securing the database or is something else
going on?

Thanks much for any assistance with this.

Hi David,

The objects should not be owned by the Admin user. You missed a step in
securing it.

Can you log in as your 'administrator' user, create a new mdb and import all
objects? If so then you will be the owner, however you will have to reapply
the permissions to your groups as importing will give full permissions to
the Users group.
