I have had this happen to me to. What I usually do is hit
the update button and leave the computer alone for
awhile. If you let if run undisturbed it will eventually
complete the update process. You may also have another
user try to do the same updates by becoming the manager.
I have seen this occur when people are clicking around
while the update process is trying to occur. If you mess
with it it tends to hang a little bit, but patience
usually pays off.
