Please bear with me as I'm sure this has been addresed before.

I need to move my copy of Office 2003 from my rapidly failing Dell to my new
HP Laptop.

I do have the original CD which I purchased some time ago.

MS rejects the CD Key at installation.

I'm interested in learning how one might go about successfully completing
the process.

The new HP had a preinstalled trial version of Office which has now expired.

I am running XP Pro on both machines.

Thanks for any and al help!

REmove the trial from the HP and try to install using your retail media again. Do you get an error message? If yes, what is the full text?
