Attaching a PDF file to Entourage email?

When I attach a Photoshop PDF file to my Entourage email message, the PDF is not able to be opened by PC or Outlook users. The attached file has a "blue" icon rather the traditional red one? The PDF file is fine when sent using Outlook.

How was the PDF file generated? What OS and software was used to generate
it?

Are you certain you checked "Apple Double" in the file sending preferences?
If this is checked in Outlook but not in Entourage, that would explain the
difference.

Also make sure the name of the file has the ".pdf" extension at the end.
