I cannot get an animated gif image to work on an Entourage message.
The exact same image works on Explorer.
Does anyone know how to make it work???
Gifs are not animated by entourage's built in display engine. However, you
can force entourage to use the Internet Explorer display engine (if the
recipient's preferences are set in the default manner) by causing the
message to use complex HTML. Easiest way of doing this (in entourage 2004)
is to compose your message in Word, insert the GIF image in there, then use
the 'send to > Mail recipient (as HTML)' menu item in the word 'File' menu.
