Attaching music to CD presentation

I have PP 2003, when I make a CD w/music, why does it play the music w/ the
presentation on some computers and not others? These people have the same
version as I do and the identical laptop as mine.

What type of music files are they? You can ask one of the other people to go to
Start > Run and type mplay32.exe and try to run one of the music files on the
CD. If it doesn't work in mplay32.exe it won't work in PowerPoint. The

will explain more. Section 3 is particularly important. It lists the MCI
settings that must match in their Registrys exactly.
