Attachment Errors

For years, I have been able to send lareger file
attachments that are over 1 mb, even up to 4 -5 mb.
For some reason, suddenly, I cannot. The progress
bar goes completely to the end, but stops just short of
sending the message and then I receive an error
message stating:
Error Message
"Mail could not be sent using the account "mkelly."
Explanation
A connection failure has occurred.

It is peculiar that there are 5 to 6 corrupt messages
that cannot be deleted.

Error: -3280

It's possible that your ISP has changed the limit. You can use iChat to send
large files.

that cannot be deleted.

This sounds like database corruption.

How to rebuild your database:

If you¹re in Entourage X, first go to
Entourage -> Turn Off Office Notifications. Quit Entourage, and then restart
Entourage holding down the Option key. When the Rebuild dialog box comes up,
choose to do a Typical Rebuild.
