Attachment problem

I have been sending out Autocad drawings attached to my
Outlook email for some time now.

All of a sudden, today, a vendor of mine could not open
the .dwg attachment. He tells me that the email converted
it to a "winmail.dat".

What is this? Why did this happen? I had my wife send
the very same email to my work address and it arrived fine.

Does anybody know what has happened here? I recently,
last Saturday 8/16, installed the "critical Windows
updates". Does this have any bearing?

Change your mail format from RTF to HTML or Plain Text. RTF-format is only
supported by Outlook clients. To change the fomat goto Tools-> Options->
Mail Format.
