Attachment sent as Zip

I sent an attached jpg file to someone and it arrived in zip
compressed
format.
I don't have Entourage set to do this.
I`m using Entourage 2008 (danish).

"compress attachments to zip" in settings is unchecked.

Can anyone help ?

Use BASE64 encoding for data files, it is the best choice for sending to
both the Mac and the PC.
