Attachment was removed

In an e mail I saved it said attachment was removed? Does anyone have idea
how that happens? I did not remove it. I also see lot of red exclamation
points on saved messages. Thanks.

Thanks Mickey,
I think it's some fluke, no rules with that, and remove attachments is
grayed out.

Did you check your rules? Also, using the "Remove All Attachments" command
under the "Message" menu would cause this to happen if you didn't do it on
any individual messages.
