Attachments stripped off

I have been asked to help a friend who uses Outlook
Express. When he receives an email with attachments he
gets a message that says "OE has removed potentally
dangerous attachments". Is there a security setting that
he needs to alter to allow him to receive these
attachments? I know the attachments are from a safe
source but they may well contain a macro.
Thanks

Probably
Look via Tools/Options and Security
"do not allow attachments to be saved....." must not be selected.

Open Outlook Express and select Tools > Options > Security tab and have the
person uncheck the second box from the top concerning attachments.

In the future, you should ask Outlook Express questions in an Outlook
Express newsgroup.
