Windows SP & Windows 2000 based computers using GroupWise
on the network at my office CAN see my mail BUT the
attachments don't show up when I use Entourage. If I send
the same mail/attachments via Outlook they get it fine.
Other PC/Windows-based users outside the office can see and
open my attachments fine even if I'm using Entourage. I
make sure I click the options in the "attachments" panel
for encoding for windows (MIME/base64) and appending
windows extensions before I send them.
A windows-based PC using Outlook GETS my attachment sent
from Entourage fine.
I send my mail via an SMPT account (not connected to the
office network).
I just updated to the latest Office 2001 Combo Update 9.0.4
and run a new test that didn't change anything.
It seems there is a change in the way Entourage is encoding
the attachments different form Outlook that somehow
GroupWise cannot see/read? Is it an Entourage or a
GroupWise issue? Or both? Any suggestion?
Running Entourage MAC 2001 (v9.0.4) on a G4 MAC OS 9.2.2
