I¹m running Entourage, in office 2008.
Every time I open a email with an attachment it put the darn thing on my
desk top?
Any ideas how to fix?

This is a new one. Look for a rule in your current Identity that is creating
this behavior. Look for a rule that is running an AppleScript that would
save attachments.

Or a simple "Save Attachments" action.
