Authentication failed because Entourage doesn't support any of the available authentication methods.

Anyone have any clue why after a pretty basic IMAP set up following Google's standards - I'd get this error? I just can't figure it out.

Have you double-checked the port settings? I know the SMTP is a non-standard
port.

Double-check what you've done with these settings in my blog post:
