Authorization Failed on SMTP

I have been using Entourage for many months now with no problems at all.

This morning when I attempt to send emails from any of the 4 accounts I have
configured on Entourage I get the error "AUTHORIZATION FAILED" error number
5.7.0. It states that the authentication credentials are incorrect and
offers for me to enter the password again.

The error persists even though I enter the password.

This problem occurs for all accounts. I configured the same accounts on a
friends PC laptop and they worked fine.

I have deleted all the accounts and re-configured them to no avail.

Ideas please as I am cut off from the world. I am writing this on my friends
PC :(

Entourage version is 11.2.1 (051004)
Mac OS is 10.4.2

Try changing your SMTP port to 2626.

I've been finding with my web hosting clients that often their ISPs are
blocking the default port of 25 without notice, and often the tech
people don't even know the blocking has occurred, especially if they're
the tech people for cable ISPs. Your friend probably has a different
ISP.
