If I setup auto archive every 30 days, does that mean every 30 days it will
do the archive?

Another question, for the been archived messages, it will be accumulated in
archived file or it just rewrite the archived file, only archive the latest
30 days of messages.

That's what I'd think.

It accumulates. The archive PST keeps getting bigger, so if you're using OL
2002 or earlier, cehck the archive size periodically so you don't exceed the
1.8GB limit.
