Post your version.
Outlook 2002 and higher have an autocomplete feature and it is enabled by
default.

Hi all,
I just moved from OE to Outlook
In OE I could write the names of the recepients quickly because the names
were completed automatically....
How do I do that in Outlook ??
TIA

That's Outlook 2002.
You have an autocomplete function. If you do not see it working, perhaps you
just haven't sent enough messages to have populated your autocompletion
cache.

It's not a matter of agreeing or disagreeing. It's what is.
You need to realize that Outlook and OE are completely unrelated programs
that function completely differently. You are not yet familiar with Outlook.
Outlook's autocomplete features uses a cache, not the Contacts data.
It's autoresolution feature uses the Contacts data and will more nearly
replicate what OE does.

First thanks.
Second - I disagree with you - this is not a cache question...
In it should read from the contacts list.
If its not the way (like in OE) ... then its a downgrade !
