Auto-complete Woes

Hello all,

Problem: I have two address book entries: one Jeff Smith and the other
Jeffrey Doe. I send 100x more email to Jeff Smith than to Jeffrey Doe.
Still, when I type Jeff in an address field, Entourage auto-completion
always makes Jeffrey Doe the default choice (and I've made some sending
errors). Even if I type "jeff " (with a space), Jeffrey is still the default
selection. This seems like a bug. With other common names (e.g. Joe),
Entourage is picking the one I send to most often.

Question: Is there any way for me to explicitly influence the first selected
Jeff?

(Yes, I know I could just type "Smith" to solve this problem, but old habits
die hard.)

Thank you!

Entourage should automatically update the weightings based on the frequency
that you both send to and receive from the e-mail address. Importing mail is
considered "receiving" a message, so if you recently imported a bunch of
mail from Jeff Doe, that could explain his greater weighting. You can try to
influence the weighting back up by importing a bunch of mail from Jeff Smith
into Entourage (you can then delete it; that shouldn't affect the
weighting).
