Auto Correct not working in office XP

Ran repair and reinstall. The spell checker and grammar
checker is not working. Verified all set up under tools
and options is set to check for spelling and grammar.
uninstalled and reinstalled Office XP. Problem still
exists. I now receive an error about the path to the
Custom dictionary. Verified the path and the dictionary
is available.
Anyone have a thought. Can't believe uninstall and
reinstall does not correct the problem

Uninstall and reinstall does nothing to solve your problem unless you run an
Office Cleaner program to remove registry entries, etc. A number of
Registry entries are not removed when you uninstall - so reinstalling just
gets you a fresh new copy with the same exact problems.

Are you referring to the eraser2000.exe? Where can I
find the cleaner program?

I realize the cleaner is for Office 2000. What will work
on Office 2002 or XP?

Try looking for msizap.exe on Microsoft Downloads or in the MSKB.
