auto fill recipients address

I have been told that there is a way to configure outlook
to "autofill" addresses based upon prior addresses used.
Does anyone know if this can in fact be done.

Office 2000 Pro on some machines and
Office 2003 Pro on some machines.

Outlook 2002 and 2003 have the feature, but, alas, Outlook 2000 does not.
