auto reply

I just want to set up an auto reply telling everyone that I will be out of
town automatically when someone sends an email to me. How do I do
this? I 've searched everywhere. Can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

As the FAQ says, be very careful to set up your Rule so that it doesn't
reply to messages that it shouldn't...like junk or mailing lists. I often
find it easier to just send an email to the people with whom I correspond
most often to let them know if I'm out of town, and let the rest just deal.
