auto text

Please help. Before i went on holiday i put together this form, which had a
nice option to insert one of four given endings. I placed each ending in an
autotext, and assigned a shortcut key to it, specific to the template.

Now, i can't for the life of me remember how i did it, except that i'm sure
it didn't involve going into tools / options and selecting a keyboard
shortcut (which for some reason won't work anyway - infact it doesn't even
display the existing and still operational shortcuts!)

Please help. I'm sure i assigned the shortcut at the time i created the
autotext...

If the AutoText entry is four or more characters long, then you can use
AutoComplete. Or perhaps you created an AutoTextList field?

I think the problem was that my IT colleagues had moved the goalposts and
blocked the creation of shortcut keys... god only knows why.
