Auto Update doesn't work???

What's the use of having an AutoUpdate if it doesn't work. I'm fine with
subscribing to an RSS feed to be notified of updates, but don't build one
into a suite and not use it.

The update is not yet up on the auto update server. It'll probably come
shortly,

I did read that... But it's too much just to update Entourage. I assume the
next update will work just fine. It usually only takes MS 2 or 3 tries to
get things right.

Until then you will be stuck with 12.0.0. No sounds and Sync Services
problems. Your choice.

This is the problem, as I stated in another post, I have updated, got sounds
working OK, but it's still the incorrect version #. So what's missing?

Diane Ross:
You have a fubar install.

I know you said this several times, but based on what evidence? What exactly
am I missing, other than a version designation, which I couldn't care less
about?
See directions here for getting it right.

Thanks for the write up there, but I'd like to be convinced that there's
something actually wrong to warrant a complete reinstall of the entire
Office suite.

This is a question that has no real answer. Leave it then. It's your
database and not mine that is at risk.
