Hello all,
I am trying to make a database of my karaoke songs to be able to print song
list request books.
Is there a way of using Access (2000 Premium) to automatically update its
records from a directory/file structure so every time a song is added,
deleted or changed in the MS Windows filw system access updates its records?
I store all my songs in this format:
c:\documents and settings\gary\my documents\my karaoke\ARTIST\ARTIST -
SONG (CDG).mp3
The only information I require from this is the ARTIST and SONG from the
file name to be stored in 2 MS Access fields that automatically update when I
open the access database.
I currently use a complicated method using Word and Excel that involves too
much manual work! (see:

Thank you in advance!
