AutoComplete in Outlook2002 - Any clues???

Hi all,

Just upgraded to Office XP and so have upgraded Outlook Express 6 to
Outlook 2002.

When i was using Express, when creating a new email (or
forwarding/redirecting, etc) the To: and CC: fields used to
'autocomplete', ie Id type the first couple of characters of a name or
email and Outlook would populate the rest.

Now Im using Outlook 2002, its not doing the same thing.

Ive check under Tools => Options => Email Options => Advanced and
everything seems to be in order there.

All my contacts are happily stored in my Contacts folder too.

Anyone any clues???

Thanks :)

How many messages have you sent? Autocompletion uses a cache of addresses
from messages you have sent, not your address book.

Russ,

Thank you for your reply.

I actually found some info in the Knowledge base which pointed me in
this direction.

You're quite right, as I use it more its starting to work better.

:)
