Autodial phone numbers contained in task entries

O

Outlook_Fan

I am on the verge of finally migrating over to Outlook after using Lotus
Organizer to run my medical practice for the last ten years, but am
regretting the anticipated loss of one feature that I do not believe is
available in Outlook that I have relied upon rather heavily.

Frequently, I enter phone numbers as part of a task entry in Organizer that
I will then need to call. When I am ready to make the call, I merely click
on the entry followed by clicking on an autodailer icon. The autodialer
function then identifies any phone numbers appearing in the text of the
selected task entry and then displays them as choices for immediate
autodialing.

While Outlook offers autodialing from Contact entries, often the phone calls
I make throughout the day do not justify setting up such an entry, and having
a way to dial from the individual task items therefore becomes extremely
convenient as I may make 20 or more such calls in a typical day.

Any chance such a feature could be added to Outlook?

Thanks
